Both men and women find that quickly trying to forget, move on and discover a new love is a much better idea than lingering on their past affections. In manga and drama series', characters are often depicted making a clean break with their past love by cutting their hair, throwing away or burning photos and other things that hold memories of the relationship. However, this isn't always the case in real life.
